After a 15-year hiatus, Latin pop rock group RBD are back with their world tour ‘Soy Rebelde’. Beginning in 2004 as a fictional band in the Mexican soap opera “Rebelde”, he has sold 15 million records worldwide, and the group will tour North, Central and South America starting in August. The announcement follows a revival of her Y2K era in entertainment and fashion, as seen in HBO Max’s “Gossip Girl” reboot, which was canceled this week after two seasons.
Like the original 2007 Gossip Girl, the Rebelde series followed the lives of elite private school students. The cast reflected the 2000s aesthetic not only on screen, but in real life with his RBD music group, taking that style to stages around the world. In fact, Mexican groups were already influencing teen fashion before Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf appeared on television.
The series’ popularity attracted guest stars Lenny Kravitz and Hilary Duff. Netflix has rebooted “Rebelde” on his January 5th of this year, set 16 years after the series ended in 2006.

Alfonso Herrera, who played Miguel, Diego and Giovanni in the soap operas Christopher Von He Ackermann and Christian Chavez were also influencing teenagers with their colorful hair and her NSync-inspired outfits.
Over the years, each member of RBD has developed its own style, but many fans expect the iconic silhouette to return to the stage.
Tickets for the Live Nation-produced ‘Soy Rebelde’ tour go on sale January 27th at 10am in the US and Brazil, and at 2pm in Mexico. Tickets for the US shows will also be available on Wednesday and Thursday through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan System.
