It’s very cold outside tonight. Frozen toes are hard to warm.
Today, I am perplexed by the “he says, she says” vibe. Everyone always wants to blame others. It seems to have become a game. Sadly, when someone is accused, without being proven, they are already guilty. Then the gossip begins and lives are destroyed.
Have you ever opened your down pillow on a windy day and emptied the feathers?
Now imagine picking everything up and putting it back on your pillow. This is nearly impossible.
Imagine someone who may have been wrongfully accused but has already been found guilty by word of mouth. Words of deception were instilled in the east and west, north and south. are you guilty of this? I know I was in the past
Let’s not accuse unless we are there and see the evidence. This is a tough challenge when you might be sitting in your circle of friends and it seems like lies are spreading like wildfire. can you
Read the Bible book of Esther. Haman thought he could take over by becoming the mastermind and having Mordecai (the Jews) and all the Jews in his kingdom killed. King Xerxes lied. His wife Esther was faithful and she repented in prayer and was able to reveal the truth before all death.Jews believed that the shield of God would help them to be strong. , was able to fight back and save lives.
So I challenge myself to transform the words that come out of our mouths into words of help and gratitude. This is not easy, but remember that if you leave it in the hands of God, you will be saved from the evil of the wicked.
Can you save a life from deception today? Yes, you can step up to the plate and forgive and say only positive words.
Esther kept her faith. Can you keep your faith? Be the beam of light we all must see. Be warm-hearted and send out many positive attributes of others instead of feathers.
