Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqi’s mother Merunisa Siddiqi has filed a FIR against the actor’s wife Aaliyah. Versova police asked her for questioning, according to news agency ANI. According to Versova police, Aaliya had an argument with her Nawazuddin’s mother. According to police, there is a property dispute between his mother, Nawazuddin, and Aaliyah’s alias, Zainab. Cases under Sections 452, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code are registered.
Zainab is reportedly Nawazuddin’s second wife. Nawazuddin tied the knot with Aaliya aka Anjana Kishor Pandey aka Zainab over ten years ago. They are the parents of son Yaani Siddiqi and his daughter Shola Siddiqi.
In 2020, Aaliyah sent a legal notice to Nawazuddin requesting a divorce. She also explained why she decided to break up with her. Aaliya said she had suffered domestic violence. She claimed that Nawazuddin had never raised a hand against her, but that her brother Shamas Siddiqui had beaten her.

However, in 2021, Aaliyah reversed her decision to divorce Nawazuddin. Speaking to ABP News, Aaliyah said: But now I’m really surprised to see him like this. After Aaliyah first opened up about her desire to repair the marriage, Nawazuddin told the Bombay Times: She is still the mother of my children and we have spent 10 years of her life together and I will always support her no matter what.
