Between 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? In the Season 7 Tell All Special Part 1, the two cast members were best friends.
Jenny Slatten and Kimberly Menzies had a lot in common, from their hometowns to their love lives to their particular challenges this season.
Before stepping onto the Tell All stage, Jenny confided in how good it felt to be back in America.
and she confessed to returning to America no summit It may not be out of the question.
After spending three years in India, Jenny Slatten went for a walk with Kimberly while experiencing “reverse culture shock” in New York.
Both know what the other has gone through.Actually they were both with the man their mother felt entitled to grandchildren. And, sadly, both were with men who felt pressured to meet those demands.
Frankly, I found Jenny cute. that’s all Endless drama from Sumit Singh’s disapproving family.
Jenny adjusted to many aspects of life in India. However, she is unsure if it is the best place to continue her married life.
“It’s like, ‘Let’s go to America and see what happens,'” she explained to Kimberly.
Part of it, indeed, is about Jenny losing her family. But part of it is exposing Sumit to a healthier environment.
“So he can experience a loving family,” Jenny explained, referring to her own relatives who support the marriage.
This would be a refreshing change of pace, instead of “always fighting and everyone screaming and crying all the time.”
“And yes,” said Jenny.
In contrast, Jenny’s family is supportive of the marriage.
And even if she didn’t, she wouldn’t disown Jenny for marrying the man she loved.
Jenny argued that Sumit is worth seeing what unconditional love and support really looks like. That was not the experience with his family.
Sumit understandably worries about how he will be able to adjust to life in America.
Although he is fluent in English, cultural differences may make him make the same adjustments that Jenny had to make.
What’s more pressing is that Sumit remains obsessed with reclaiming the love of his toxic family. So he won’t move.
Prior to the start of (formal) Tell All, Kimberly asked Jenny a very fair question about her plans.
“Could you come [to the U.S.] without him? ” she asked her friend.
“I don’t know, maybe,” Jenny admitted.
“I think it’s time for us to come and live in America,” Jenny said.
“He needs to see it,” she said.
Deciding where to live will determine the success or failure of a couple. Sometimes it’s just the last straw after a mountain of problems.
But on the Tell All stage, Sumit gushed about how much he misses Jenny, even though they were apart for this short time.
Jenny returned directly to film, while Sumit had to stay in India.
His affectionate words brought tears to Jenny’s eyes. She was so sweet
Jenny confided in Kimberly that “other family members have seen a change, but his mother has not.”
Sadly, Sumit’s parents “won’t accept me.” It’s bad news when Summit is as emotionally dependent on her parents as he is.
“Kim says I need to step in and be strong. I need to catch him,” Jenny told the cameras. So it’s either India or me. ”
“That’s kind of what I’m thinking about right now,” Jenny admitted.
But social media cues suggest that Jenny not only returned to India after an extended visit to Palm Springs, but had a little more fling with Sumit’s family.
Although not his mother, some of his vacation was apparently spent around Sumit’s brother, Amit, and his wife, Shree.
