Morneskin has shared a ridiculously chaotic video for his latest single, “Gossip,” featuring Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello.
“Gossip” is the latest track from Måneskin’s upcoming third album (first since his Eurovision success), “RUSH!”.
The video sees the group performing in a glass box while people watch in shock, horror and disgust. It didn’t take long for Maneskin’s energetic and reckless performance to turn them all into fans, but the video ends with one all-around party thanks to a blistering guitar solo by Security Guard (Tom Morello). .
Check out the video directed by Tommaso Ottomano below.
Talk about the track in an interview with rolling stonevocalist Damiano David said:[The word] “Gossip” has many meanings, but I chose the title because I think it sums up many of the issues facing society today. The song generally talks about all issues regarding performance culture, perfection culture and aesthetic culture. Social media puts a lot of pressure on the younger generation. It is a criticism of that, and contains irony. “
talk NME As David explained last year: What’s not easy is not doing it. It’s so easy to stick to one thing and repeat it over and over just to please your audience. You know, ‘If this works, I’ll do it over and over again throughout my career’. “
Speaking of working with Måneskin, Morello said: come. ‘ Then when I saw them perform live, I was blown away. They’re unrelentingly loud, unrelentingly sexy, unrelentingly rocking, and he deserves to be one of the younger generation’s canonical adherents of rock’n’roll.
“I had to jam with them at their studio in Hollywood.
‘Hurry! ‘ will be released on Friday (January 20th) and has been previewed by previous singles ‘The Loneliest’, ‘Supermodel’ and ‘La Fine’.
Following the record’s release, Måneskin will head to the European leg of the Loud Kids world tour, including a show at The O2 Arena in London. Tickets are available here.
