The Gossip Girl star and Chanel ambassador is getting closer to her friends.
On Zoom, Whitney Peek stared at a photo of two nearly identical pale gray cats, trying to decide which was Benny and which was Bjorn.・I made a FaceTime call to Carpenter.
It took about two seconds for Ms. Carpenter to pick up the phone and another two seconds to clarify. “I love you, goodbye”
Peek, 19, the star of HBO’s “Gossip Girl” reboot, which ends Jan. 26, won’t let her real-life friendships resemble the less bland ones the cast portrays onscreen. I’m doing it. (it was announced last week That the show won’t come back for a third season.)
“Gossip Girl opened a lot of doors for me,” Peek wrote in an email after the show was cancelled. “There are so many great moments in making the show and there are so many things to be grateful for. I’m going to miss it.”
Over the past few months, Mr. Peake has been far from the Upper East Side. She shot a project for Chanel – she’s an ambassador for the brand – touring Paris with her mother and visiting friends, including Ms. Carpenter in Los Angeles.
“I’m very picky about people around me,” she said.
Peek recently returned to her sunny apartment on the Lower East Side. In her interview, she wears her Baserange polo shirt in caramel color and sits between two angel-shaped lamps she picked up on the road while filming “Hocus Pocus 2.” I was.
With her phone in hand, she recounted her journey through seven photos from her camera roll. In Pike’s own words.

My mom got the steak. That tuna steak was the best I’ve ever had. Most of the time, if we’re dining, we talk about how delicious the food is. I haven’t seen my mother in a long time, so this was the first time I was able to sit down with her one-on-one and ask how her sister and family were doing.
Back in the winter in New York—I didn’t want to do that. It was a feeling A friend of mine, Lilia from “Hocus Her Pocus” Her Buckingham—I was staying at her mom’s guest house. I had just left home for the first time and it was actually sunny. I sat there for about four hours.
I went to this bar with my friend Sabrina Carpenter. Pacman machine and photo booth. The bar was completely empty except maybe a couple of people, so we quickly sneaked in and went to the back and started playing a bunch of games. Sabrina had a sports day at the game. After that, I took over the photo booth. Since there was no flash, I had to hold the camera for quite some time because I didn’t know when it was being taken. The last picture is like, “Are they really taking pictures or are they just making us look like idiots now?”
Sabrina is allergic to cats, so she can’t pet them, but they live together.that’s benny Bjorn in the photo. I want a pet so badly that I think I’ve tried to convince everyone in my life to get a dog at least once. you’re never home
“The Kelly Clarkson Show” was my first daytime television interview. She chose records for all the guests on the show and chose a Whitney Houston record for me. She was really energetic and she never got out of her head. She saw Andie MacDowell just before, and I remember being really nervous. i love her. When she was younger she saw ‘Jane by Design’. She was too nervous to tell her. She doesn’t even remember what she said. I feel like everyone nodded their head just by tweeting a lot of things.
My friend Gabe Lovell just did “The Fabelmans” and his aunt teaches at an elementary school in Los Angeles. I decorated cookies at a first grade gathering. He was coloring the Grinch and playing Minecraft with me, which was very cute. I’m sure they also gave me the flu.
After having a good time, I caught the flu. I really stayed in the same fetal position for about two days. I started watching “Insecure” and finished watching “Emily in Paris”. It’s a very interesting program. Every time a season comes out, I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m going to wear this,’ and I end up looking at it all.
