When NCIS With it fully staffed for season 20, there’s always an interest in the potential return of a guest star from one of the former cast members. Mark Harmon as Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, or Michael Weatherly as Anthony DiNozzo.
Today, in a New Year’s Day tweet, in response to a fan who said his wish in 2023 was to see DiNozzo and Ziva (Cote de Pablo) reunion, last appearance Weatherly NCIS posted a cryptic answer in the season 13 finale.
In a past conversation with NCIS show runner Stephen D. Binder, he said he was always open to possibilities.and in an interview parade was Sean Murrayhe said, “I talk to Michael all the time, so sometimes I joke about the possibility.”
DePablo’s return as Ziva in season 17 was meant to join Tony and daughter Tali in Paris when she finished some unfinished business, so now it’s season 20, so we’re hoping the couple is still on board. It’s interesting to see how the couple lives if they are together!
Weatherly in action Bull When Ziva Comes Back NCIS, It didn’t appear in any of those episodes, but now Bull Now that the wrap has ended, the couple may make a guest appearance, and Weatherly’s tweets don’t deter that idea.

But realistically, Binder said: TV line In September 2022, that would be great, but it’s not.
“when [Michael] left NCIShe told me, “I’m never going to do network television again.” Bull Things landed on his knees and again he was working like a fiend. So, while we kind of forget Tony DiNozzo, we suspect Michael Weatherly is on vacation. I’ve known him for a while and I think he needs to relax and go somewhere in the tropics, I haven’t spoken to him about that but he has been Talking and that’s my guess. ”
That said, fans are urging Weatherly to return, as @Slags68 wrote: I miss Tony and Ziva since Gibbs and Mark Harmon left. The current character mix is less intriguing. ”
But @GAgirl_47 said what many of us are thinking. I’ve been waiting so long for that reunion! ”
