“I feel like a better version of myself,” she told the publication. “It was a health decision. When Self-care decisions. “Oh my God, I’m having plastic surgery like these crazy celebrities. But I’m not ashamed at all.”
By the time she turned 16, Sunny said she was a double D. Years of her struggle with back pain and body image issues followed.
But when the 54-year-old put on a gown while getting dressed for the 2022 White House Correspondents’ Dinner and realized the dress’s bra didn’t fit her size, she wondered what she was doing. I said it’s time to do .

“I was crying,” she recalled of the April 2022 event. “I sat there and didn’t eat anything. I could not do it. [Musical group] Bell Bib Devoe wanted to take a picture with me I was like, ‘Oh my god, they’ll have these pictures with my boobs hanging out.’
Soon after, Sunny made an appointment with a New York City-based plastic surgeon. Dr. Ryan Ninestein and chest specialist Dr. Anna SteveOn August 22, 2022, she underwent a breast reduction and lift, liposuction of her hips and chin.
With a personal nurse helping her at home, it took her two weeks to recover, but Sunny does not regret the experience. She also wants to be honest about her journey to remind fans that there is more to her than meets the eye.
“I look through magazines and Instagram accounts. I always believed, ‘Oh, they must be eating clean,'” Sunny said of other public figures. No. A lot of people take something or have plastic surgery and it’s their decision to keep it private but I really wanted to be honest and I am very happy.”
