Sridevi started her career as a child artist with a Tamil film called Kandhan Karunai (1967), but her entry into Bollywood was Julie (1975). Soon after, Sridevi started focusing more on Hindi cinema. She appeared in dozens of Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films between her 1967 and her 2017 years. The actor died in Dubai in 2018. In 1994, Sridevi was at the peak of her career when Saif Ali Her Khan worked with her for a photo shoot for her magazine. She has appeared in films such as She Laadla and She Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja in recent months.

In the same interview, Saif was asked if the producers offered him the option of “acting with the top heroine”. It looks perfect,” but said he wanted to work with Sridevi. Saif is currently married to actor Kareena Kapoor.
“It would be silly for me not to choose Sridevi. But the story has to make us look right. So it’s all a matter of opinion,” he said.
Saif and Sridevi had never worked together in a film and were seen together on the cover of Filmfare in July 1994.
