Muscat plays Banquo in Shakespeare’s musical Macbeth.
Lady MWilliam Shakespeare’s new musical Macbethhas released a new music video featuring star Jamie Muscat performing “However Hard I Try.” look up.
In this production, Muscat plays Banquo, a friend of Lord Macbeth who learns the truth of a witch’s prophecy and is killed by Macbeth when his loyalty is perceived as a threat. “However Hard I Try” musicalizes Banquo’s reaction to Macbeth’s murder of King Duncan, and his internal struggle as the only one who has any idea of his connection to the murder.
Lady M retell the story of Macbeth From the perspective of his wife Lady Macbeth. Flashbacks of her past are interwoven with the events of the play until the audience sees a clearer picture of her role in villainy and downfall.
