Croatian-born identical twins Ivana and Marija Curic, co-founders of Curic&Curic, have once again been recognized as a talent among thousands of applicants in the fashion sector.
Ivana and Marija were selected as one of five designers out of thousands of applicants to join the first ever handbag designer incubator.
Signal Brands and The Independent Handbag Designer Awards have joined forces to create the Signal Brands Collective, the first ever handbag designer incubator to design a “hero bag” mini collection.
“We are the only Croatian designer selected for the second time to be part of a fashion incubator founded by renowned and award-winning fashion powerhouses like IHDA founder Emily Blumenthal and Signal Brands. I’m very excited about this opportunity, brands like Guess, Nine West,” said Ivana and Marija.

Curic&Curic is an eco-friendly brand founded by Mariya and Ivana, born in Osijek, Croatia and now based in New York.
In 2020, we won the Independent Handbag Design Award for our sustainable denim handbag Blue Dahlia.

The sisters have also participated in many charity events, using their talents to raise money for worthy causes both in the United States and in their native Croatia.
