QuickSet® Cloud supports interoperability between IP, Zigbee 3.0, Bluetooth Low Energy, Zigbee rf4ce, infrared and CEC protocols. This interoperability works with all major digital assistants on the market, including Alexa, Google and SmartThings.
QuickSet® also enables legacy (i.e. unconnected) devices to communicate and coexist with connected (smart) capable devices, allowing smart home owners to interact with their existing installed base of devices. Compatibility can be maintained.
At CES 2023, Quickset, certified to benefit consumers with its multi-admin features, 6.0 home automation, and UEI’s virtual agent, was announced. All of these help revitalize the connected home ecosystem in a user-friendly way.
Voice-controlled Nevo® Butler also joins Matter’s evolution by offering a smart home gateway that integrates entertainment and control solutions.
Universal’s TIDE Dial is UEI’s first smart thermostat, making Matter more collaborative in the smart home. This cloud native thermostat supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE and Zigbee in addition to complementing the Matter bridge.
HVAC and home automation brands can now enhance their non-Matter devices to become sensitive and discoverable to Matter-enabled devices.
Finally, the QuickSet Widget, supported by APIs and white label apps, integrates all of the Quickset Cloud functionality.
