Actor-turned-writer Twinkle Khanna got in a car with his daughter Nitara in Mumbai on Saturday. In a video shared by the paparazzi on Instagram, Twinkle laughed and told the driver to keep going as photographers kept clicking on his picture. In the video, Nitara chased Twinkle in a car. When Nitara said something to his mother, Twinkle replied, “Bohut acha hua (very good).” The mother and daughter were sitting in the car, but the driver did not start it.
As the paparazzi continued to click pictures, Twinkle laughed as he told the car driver, “Chalo bhaiyya aap wait karahe ho” (Drive, you are waiting). Nitara also smiled at this.
For their outing, Twinkle chose a multi-colored dress with golden sandals. Nitara was seen in a purple top, shorts and sneakers. Twinkle also carried a bag and a book. Nitara had a pouch in his hand.
Nitara is the youngest child of Twinkle and her husband, actor Akshay Kumar. They also have a son, Arlaf. Recently, Twinkle celebrated his 48th birthday with his family. On her Instagram, she dropped several photos featuring her, Akshay, Nitara, Aarav, and members of their extended family and friends.
Sharing the photo, she wrote, “A perfect birthday with all the people I love most. Thank you for your lovely wishes.
Twinkle retired from acting in 2001 after appearing in a string of films. She started her writing career in 2015 and released her first book Mrs Funnybones. Twinkle wrote another book in 2017 consisting of an anthology of stories titled The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad, followed by another book titled Pajamas Forgive, published the following year.
Akshay was recently seen in the action-adventure film Ram Setu alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, which got a decent response at the box office. has been cast in the upcoming entertainer film Selfiee. Besides Akshay, Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha are also part of the remake. Film director Raj Mehta is directing the project.
