The weather outside may be intimidating, but the myriad of view options inside are no fun.

In interviews in recent weeks, the Associated Press asked celebrities who promote their projects in Europe what they plan to see this winter season.

LUCAS BRAVO and DARREN STAR (“Emily in Paris”):

“There are so many shows to catch up on. I have fantasies of what to watch, but I never really get to them. said Starr, creator of “Emily in Paris.”

But does catching up on other TV shows feel like work?

“Not when they’re that old,” said Starr. “It’s okay to go back and watch old shows because you’re not thinking about them in the moment. Like, ‘Damn, why is this so good?'”

Bravo, the actor who plays love interest and chef Gabriel on Netflix’s show, gave ‘The Sopranos’ another vote and added ‘Twin Peaks’ to his list, but there was another show first. .

“I’m watching ‘Tokyo Vice’ right now. It’s a great show,” said the French actor. “When I saw how Japan was filmed, I wanted to go there. It’s so immersive and so good.”

    Martin Clunes (“Doc Martin”):

Clunes, who has played an out-of-water, country-dwelling Cornish doctor on ITV shows since 2004, chose ‘Ghost’.

“I love Ghosts. The US adaptation will be aired by CBS.

“They’re all very smart,” Clunes said of the British show’s cast. I had my finger cut off in ‘Doctor Martin’.”

William Abadie and Lucien Laviscount (“Emily in Paris”)

The actors of “Emily in Paris” look to the environment for their winter watches.

“I love nature documentaries. I’ve been vegan for several years,” said Abadie, who plays perfumer and PR client Antoine.

Documentaries on nutrition and global warming also capture his taste.

Laviscount, who plays Emily’s lover Alfie, said she sought “a similar vibe” and likes “anything that inspires, inspires”.

“Especially in the winter months, I’m into the inspirational kind of adventure show because it needs to go on,” he said.

What shows is he into right now? “Wednesday.”

Douglas Hodge and Blake Harrison (“I Hate Suzie Too”)

“I think I see quite a lot of horror with my wife as it gets darker,” Hodge said.

Sky’s three-part ‘I Hate Suzie’ follow-up revolves around a former child star played by Billie Piper. Hodge will play her ex-husband and Harrison will play Susie’s rival contestant in a dance contest show within the show.

Harrison, on the other hand, is “trying to indoctrinate his daughter into the world of Tolkien” despite his wife’s disgust.

“I used to go through that time every Christmas when my brother and I would get together and watch all three Lord of the Rings expansions in one day. A marathon of time,” he says. explained. “Obviously, now that I have kids, it’s not a lot, but I’ve just started introducing her daughter to ‘The Fellowship of the Ring.’ I am obsessed with it. “

Bruno Gauery and Samuel Arnold (“Emily in Paris”)

to Paris again. Arnold and Gourry play Julien and Luc, colleagues who work at his PR firm in Paris.

    Arnold is seasonally appropriate.

Gourry, on the other hand, is primed for a different kind of time. It’s a spooky season, aided by the fact that it gets dark early.

“I also like comedy,” he said. “In other words, two opposite things. I like horror movies. I like movies like Scary Movies, The Shining, Psycho. He’s crazy,'” he said.

“Remind me not to spend Christmas with you, brother,” Arnold replied.
