As we previously reported, Tristan Thompson’s mother, Andrea Thompson, passed away suddenly last week.
According to insiders, Andrea apparently suffered a heart attack while at her home in Toronto.
She was taken to a nearby hospital, but doctors were unable to resuscitate her.
Tristan took a private jet from Los Angeles to Toronto as soon as he heard the news. Much to the surprise of many, he was joined by Khloe his Kardashian.
Yes, it’s no secret that Tristan and Khloe’s relationship was a difficult one.
The NBA star first discovered Khloe’s cheating while they were pregnant with their first child together.
Last year, when the surrogate mother was carrying the couple’s second child, Tristan was sued for paternity by a Houston-based personal trainer.
Despite all of this, Chloe seems stuck by Tristan’s side in the grieving process.
Not only that, but the entire Kardashian family supports Thompson.
“Tristan’s mom, I am deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Andrea. My thoughts, prayers and my love are all with Tristan, Amari, DiShawn and Danielle,” said Kris Jenner. He mentioned Tristan’s brother on Instagram this week.
“You were the most wonderful, devoted, devoted, selfless mom and most loving, kind, wonderful grandmother.”
Chris described Andrea as a “blessing” and revealed how much she will be missed.
“I miss Andrea. I miss your bright spirit and your wonderful light,” Chris continued.
“Thank you for always praying for us, cheering us up and encouraging us. Rest in peace beautiful angel.”
According to insiders, Chris and Andrea have developed a special friendship over the years, and the mom has taken the loss especially hard.
Luckily, Kardashian responded to the situation by rallying with both Tristan and Khloe.
“She was incredibly close to his mother. As Khloe and the Kardashian family always do, they come together to support their loved ones during the most difficult times. News of Chris.
“Tristan is the father of Khloe’s children and she and her whole family will always be there for him.”
Yes, the Kardashian family has a long history of keeping each other’s former romantic partners open and accepting, even years after the relationship ended.
I’m sure Tristan will be very grateful for that support as he gets through this difficult time in his life.
