STATEN ISLAND, NY — Pete Davidson has fans everywhere, including the upper echelons of Hollywood.
Recently, Davidson was praised by actress Jennifer Lawrence and mentioned the born and raised Staten Islander in the January 9th issue of W Magazine.
When asked if he ever had a crush on a star, the ‘Hunger Games’ megastar replied, ‘For me, the most famous celebrities in the world are people like Pete Davidson.’ .
Lawrence went on to list Davidson’s ex-fiancée Ariana Grande and singer Jessica Simpson as two celebs she admires.
This isn’t the first time Davidson, 29, has received this level of recognition. In fact, he’s been consistently praised for his down-to-earth persona by his fellow actors, film directors, producers, and lesser-known folks.
In the past, he was described as “an incredibly sweet guy” by actor Ben Stiller. “Exactly f——real” by his “The King of Staten Island” co-star Marisa Tomei. “A truly generous, kind, and funny spirit” by “Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn. “Charming” by his former “Saturday Night Live” colleague Chloe Feynman.
On the local circuit, the comedian was recently called “very sincere” and “very humble” by Lens Productions co-owner Michael Leavy, by Staten Island-based Fuzz. 2009; she handed over her restaurant to the production of “Bupkis” in October, and she was called a “good girl” by Marina Cafe owner Rosemarie Saladis. After the actor stopped by for some pie last year, he was praised by Denino co-owner Mike Burke for “bringing more light to Staten Island.”
