One of Netflix’s most popular shows, The Witcher, returns for Season 3. This he can be divided into two parts. Production on the show has already ended. The fictional medieval period drama has also been renewed for season 4, with Liam Hemsworth taking over the role of Geralt of Rivia. Hollywood actor Henry Cavill announced his departure from The Witcher earlier this year.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Collider, The Witcher: Blood Origin, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, showrunner for The Witcher, said VFX challenges continue to cause delays in Hollywood, so the next season will be split into multiple parts. We talked about possibilities.
“We haven’t talked about it yet, but at the moment, seeing what’s happening with all kinds of streamers, we’re not going to rule it out,” Schmidt said. This isn’t the first time Netflix has split a drama into two parts. We’ve seen the Duffer brothers’ Stranger Things season 4 in two parts. The fifth and final part of the Spanish adaptation drama Money Heist was also released in his two installments.
