Savannah, GA (WSAV) — On Monday, American TV host Ty Pennington shared a video of an area of his home recently renovated by local construction firm Heritage Construction Savannah, Inc.
In a post containing the video, Pennington said, “Big shout out to @heritage_construction_savannah for always making the impossible possible #bestteam.”
“When you work with Ty, you don’t even know he’s a celebrity. One of the best customers I’ve ever had, laid back and easy to deal with.”
Regarding that particular project, Dantis said there is still work to be done.
“It’s not finished yet, but the interior of the second and third floors was just completed on Saturday. We are also working on the carriage house in the back.”
Heritage Construction Savannah is a family-run company started around 1982 by Dantis’ father Gary. Gary died of kidney cancer in his 2013, and Dantis took over the company in his 2009 and now owns the company with his brother.
Regarding what his father says about the company’s progress today, Dantis said: And the industrial type work that we still do. We do a lot of work at the port, but some of these luxury residential projects are really just getting started. ”
As for the work on the Pennington home, Dantis said there’s a lot more to do.
“I think Ty has a lot more to do. We have already started planning other projects in the Savannah area. There are a lot of fun ideas and a lot of creation involved. It’s going to be interesting.” ”
