Last time we spoke, you said that it’s important to separate your real life from the character’s life, that it helps keep you grounded, and that you never do method acting. do you still support it?
yes. I think everyone has their own process for how they approach their characters and how they act. But I have no intention of doing method acting yet. If I have to physically transform to make a character that will eventually become an action figure, I will.

I read an article about shooting a scene Absent It was a challenging and emotional evening that lasted until 3:30 am.
When you’re on set for a long time, the same thing can be repeated, whether it’s an emotional scene or not. Body tired, tired of saying the same thing. We were doing that scene all day. It was pretty mentally tough, but it was a lot of fun.i just wanted to sleep [laughs].
In the past, you’ve said you’re open to playing Storm in the MCU as well. Was there any movement along with that?
no i literally just said it for my name [laughs]but I’m grateful to be a part of the Marvel Universe.
What’s your red carpet fashion mantra?
It’s always comfortable, but still fashionable.Fabrics and sequins can be itchy, but most of the time I make sure I can move, dance and sit comfortably.Stylist Jason Bolden and John [Mumblo] Jason knows my style and what I like to wear. while working Nun 2 In France, did you take any hints from fashionable French people?
So the French are very united [laughs]I noticed that I was also in the process of filming, so most of the time I was sweating. I wear sweatshirts on a daily basis because the overall style is more tomboyish than girly. These two of hers intersect in my personal style, but streetwear, oversized hoodies, sweatshirts, T-her shirts, and menswear are what I love to wear.

Let’s get into the stylenote question. What is your favorite fashion moment in pop culture?
I love the fact that everything that was trending back then is making a comeback in fashion, especially Y2K fashion. And a ’90s brown lip liner and lip gloss combination is my signature look today.
Do you have style icons?
I have many style icons, but I think my top 3 has to be Zendaya. Rihanna; and Beyonce.
I wanted to ask you if you have a style friend that you admire the most, and Zendaya might be that person.
Yeah definitely Zendaya. Her street style and what she wears on the carpet is so effortless and carefree. Clearly she cares about what she wears, but she exudes confidence wherever she is.
Do you two often talk about fashion?
Actually yeah. We often compliment each other on the looks we wear. She actually gave me some advice for my first Met Gala. At that time, I was thinking of getting my hair cut, and she gave me the confidence to do it. She gave the final stamp of approval that I was ready to cut off all my hair.

What is the most prized possession in your closet?
Probably my shoes. I’m a pretty big sneakerhead. I am part of the New Balance family, so I have over 130 pairs of New Balance.
Do you have sneakers that you always wear?
I always wear New Balance 550. There are also shoes made in collaboration with Stephen Curry for International Women’s Day. I have one on display in my sneaker/glam room. It was my first time collaborating by jumping into the world of sneaker making. So they mean a lot to me.
Tell me more about this sneaker glam room.
It’s sneakers slash glam room. In addition to my sneaker wall, I have a dressing table, cosmetics (all Maybelline products), a chair and a mirror.
What’s the best fashion advice you’ve ever received?
Be comfortable and be yourself. You don’t wear your clothes, you wear them.
