Sure, folks: The Bachelor is back!
On Monday night, 26-year-old tech executive Zach Charcross stepped into a role previously occupied by other handsome, boring white men and told the cameras early on:
“I’m not here to mess around.”

“It felt right,” Charcross said in a confession. “There was a little spark there, and I want her to know that I felt that spark.”
At the cocktail party that followed, Zach told 30 aspiring wives:
“I’m just a guy who loves his family, football and frozen pizza. But really, who’s looking for his forever best friend?”
“And I grew up with two loving parents who have been married for over 30 years and love each other every day. And that’s what I strive for.”
After asking the suitor for sincerity, Zack went ahead and kissed Katie, Greer, Jess, and Charity When Christina dancing with most of the women on the party bus.
Charcross also went to first base with Madison, but Zach agreed, but she said the romantic moments were “subpar.”
“I don’t know if I was feeling that kiss,” Zach admitted in an on-camera interview.
Finally, Greer got the First Impression Rose.
“It was one of the easiest conversations ever,” he told her. “I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to get to know you more.”
Meanwhile, Madison is ripped off for not receiving this rose (despite the “subpar” kiss classification) and interrupts Zack’s chat with another woman to reveal where he was with her. I asked
“My heart wasn’t feeling it,” Charcross admitted.
“I never want to force it and I never want you to go through something that isn’t real because I know what it feels like to be led and I don’t want that for you. I’m sorry. No, but I can’t see our future.”
Madison then left the show.
“I can’t believe I gave my life for him,” Madison walked away crying.
Zack, however, stood by his decision.
“She’s not my person,” he told the camera. “I’m not doing any favors by keeping her by my side.”
Back inside, Zack told the group what had happened, and at one point began giving roses to women he wanted to sleep with.
Christina, Charity, Bailey, Jess, Genevie, Davia, Aly, Brooklyn, Kaity, Anastasia, Kylee, Gabi, Katherine, Mercedes, Ariel, Victoria J., Kimberly and Cat all won roses.
“I really can’t wait to continue this journey with you,” Zach said to the rest of the women. “I really feel like a best friend in this room.”
