On Twitter, Taapsee shared the first poster of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. The poster featured the actor with his back to the camera, his face facing the Taj Mahal. The story seems to take place in Agra. Apart from Taapsee, the film also stars Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal. Tarpsy, who shared the poster, captioned it, “Ek naye sheher mein, phir ek baar…tehelka machaane aa rahi hai, humari Hasseen Dillruba (In the new city, again… our Hasseen Dillruba is coming to cause chaos).” was attached to the post.

Earlier this month, Vikrant confirmed the second installment of his romantic thriller film Haseen Dillruba. Directed by Vini Mathieu and written by Kanika Dillon, his Haseen Dillruba premiered exclusively on his Netflix in July 2021 and was well received by audiences. The film featured Vikrant, Taapsee Pannu and Harshvardhan Rane in lead roles.
Apart from Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Taapsee is also preparing a Rajkumar Hirani film. The film, titled Danki, also stars Shah Rukh Khan. It is scheduled to be released in December this year.
