For those unfamiliar, the Dil Bechara actor was found dead hanging from a ceiling fan in his home in Bandra. It was the subject of rumors.
The apartment rented by the late Sushant Singh Rajput has been vacant for nearly three years. His NRI owner of the flat has finally found a new tenant and plans to rent out the flat soon, according to the latest report from India Today.
Mumbai-based real estate broker Rafiq Merchant said he was contacted by the owner of the apartment a few months ago. The apartment where Sushant Singh Rajput once lived will be rented out for Rs 500,000 per month. The owner also receives his 3 lakh security deposit which is equivalent to his 6 months rent.
The realtor said, “We have found someone (a tenant). We are in the final stages of discussions with the family to finalize things. The Montblanc Apartments flat is a sea facing duplex 4BHK, 2,500 sq ft with terrace, located on Carter Road, Bandra West, Mumbai.
Sushant Singh Rajput has lived in an apartment on the sixth floor for three years in December 2019. At that time, he was paying Rs 4.51 crore monthly rent. The late actor shared an apartment with his roommate and then-girlfriend actor Lea Chakraborty.
