Eva Amurri, the daughter of actress Susan Sarandon and Italian film director Franco Amurri, has looked back on being the child of famous parents.
The 37-year-old lifestyle blogger and actress shared a TikTok video in which she responded to a fan who asked if she grew up around other kids whose parents were celebrities.
“I grew up with a lot of other celebrity kids because whenever my parents did a movie or a TV show or something like that, of course, the kids of other actors and directors Stay with me,” Eva said in a clip posted Wednesday.
The “California” alum explained that those who grew up in the entertainment industry “liken it to growing up in the circus.”

“You kind of go through these really surreal periods of time, very closely intertwined with other people, whether they’re other people’s families or individuals,” she noted.
“Even as an actress, I often feel close like family when I’m just spending quality time with certain groups,” Eva added.
She continued, “And one of the things that’s really confusing about the world of acting is that a lot of the time when a project is done, everyone goes their separate ways and you go back to real life.” That’s it.
“And sometimes it’s really sad.”
Eva said her parents bonded with other “Nepobabies” on set while they were filming the movie. I remembered
“You spend that time together and then you always have this kind of thing in common,” said the New York native.

“And we’ve grown closer with some families over the years, but not so much with others,” she added.
“But growing up like that is always kind of a unique experience. So I think there are certain commonalities that you feel with other people who grew up in this strange world.”
Sarandon, 76, has had decades of success in Hollywood. She starred in a long list of hit movies like ‘Thelma & Louise’, ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’, ‘The Client’, ‘Stepmom’ and ‘A Bad Moms Christmas’. Sarandon won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in the 1995 film Dead Man Her Walking.

Amri, 64, has directed a number of films including ‘Da Grande’, ‘Monkey Trouble’ and ‘Flashback’ which inspired Tom Hanks’ 1988 hit ‘Big’.
Sarandon and Amri dated for four years from 1984 to 1988. Eva was also raised by her mother’s longtime partner, actor Tim Robbins. The star of “The Shawshank Redemption,” the 64-year-old has won an Academy Award for Best Actor and two Golden His Globe Awards.
Eva and Sarandon have appeared together in projects such as the films The Banger Sisters, Middle of Nowhere, and an episode of the TV show Friends.
The two recently starred in the FOX series “Monarch,” in which Eva played a younger version of her mother’s character.
