The entertainment chain, co-owned by former NFL quarterback Drew Brees, has set its sights on South Alabama as its latest location.
According to the company’s website, the Surge Entertainment Center, which already has two locations in Alabama, will be coming to Mobile “soon.”
A local outlet reports that the center is located in an empty lot next to Bel Air Mall Berg.
Surge did not immediately respond to a request for comment by AL.com on Saturday.
According to its website, the company has two types of businesses: entertainment centers and adventure parks. The entertainment center includes amenities such as laser tag, ropes courses, and bowling. The Adventure Park includes more active activities such as basketball, trampoline parks, and dodgeball.

Both types of venues include dining options and the ability to host small and large gatherings.
According to Surge’s website, Mobile’s location is classified as an entertainment center. Once open, it would be his third location in Alabama, after Opelika and Homewood. The Mobile location will be the first entertainment center outside of Louisiana.
Fort Walton Beach Adventure Park is currently the closest Surge location to Mobile.
