WARREN — Warren’s Struthers Library Theater has announced a Celebrity Series for the Winter/Spring 2023 season.
The Marshall Tucker Band, The StepCrew, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder join the theater’s 140-year history.
Southern rock mainstay Marshall Tucker Band kicks off the season on Saturday, February 25th. With hit singles such as “Heard It In a Love Song,” “Fire On The Mountain,” “Can’t You See,” and “Take The Highway,” they earned him seven golds for his albums and three platinums for him. got his album. On Sunday, March 5th, Struthers will welcome The Stepcrew, a dynamic dance production that combines three percussive dance styles: Irish, Tap and Ottawa Valley. StepCrew strikes the ultimate balance between respecting traditional dance forms and creating an exciting modern fusion unlike anything you’ve seen or heard before. The show literally leaves the audience on their feet. Warren’s own Celtic/British folk featuring his duo Sixpence. Bluegrass and country legends Ricky Skaggs and the Kentucky Thunder will join us on Saturday, May 20th. With his hit singles like “Crying My Heart Out Over You,” “I Don’t Care,” and “Heart Broke,” Ricky Skaggs produces bluegrass music. Preserving the musical legacy of one of the most talented artists of his generation. With 15 Grammy Awards to his name, inductees to the Country and Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, and a National Medal of Arts award, Skaggs’ career is one of the most significant in country music history.
