Rocky Ridge Music is proud to announce the formation of the Keith and Jackie Stevenson Memorial Music Scholarship Fund. This was made possible by generous donations in memory of their parents from David, Robert and Sherry Stevenson.
Stephensons was an Estes Park resident for 30 years, during which time he was a regular at Rocky Ridge Music concerts and events, entertaining all with his wit, knowledge of local history and love of music.
Rocky Ridge Music is a nonprofit center for music education that offers summer and year-round programs for musicians of all ages and levels. The campus is located off Highway 7 in Colorado, at the foot of Long’s Peak on the border of Rocky Mountain National Park.
A staunch member of the Rocky Ridge community, the Stevenson family has left its mark in many ways, from the Nina Simone Cabin built by Keith and her sons to the handcrafted replica of a miniature grand piano that graces the library of the Hughes Kirkwood Inn. left. A letter of support written to secure funding for an important grant.
These contributions were important, but they are only a small part of the lives of generosity and service that Keith and Jackie have made in Colorado and around the world.
In a statement about the scholarship fund, Stevenson’s children wrote: We are so happy that this love extends beyond their rich lives in ways that benefit future musicians. “
