Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (WBTW) — A new entertainment venue is opening soon in Myrtle Beach.
Georgia-based Stars and Strikes will open its third South Carolina store at the Coastal Grand Mall in February, bringing over 100 new jobs to the Grand Strand and featuring a state-of-the-art laser tag arena I plan to. A robot that brings food to your table. 105 games on 150 player stations. electronic ax throwing; and bowling.
Stars and Strikes already has stores in Irmo and Summerville, occupying space in the mall previously owned by Dick’s Sporting Goods. Myrtle Beach will be his 16th location for the company.
The company will participate in a job fair at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Ax attendants, bartenders, bowling attendants, hostesses and kitchen workers are just a few of the jobs the company is trying to fill, said Lauren VanBuskirk, her director of marketing at the company.
Ax Attendants must be 18 years of age or older.
“You don’t need any prior experience to apply for this job,” said company partner Jack Canus. “clearly, [we want] Someone who is very safety conscious and can follow directions when throwing an ax.
A potential employee should have a few other key attributes, he said.
“[We want] someone with a good work ethic [and] People are there to have fun, so there’s a lot of personality,” he said.
