Shreyas Talpade recalls being warned about Naseeruddin Shah’s “disposition”.bollywood

Shreyas Talpade recalled working with Naseeruddin Shah on the 2005 film Iqbal. The actor said he was nervous before starting filming Nagesh Kukunoor’s film, and how the director warned him about Naseruddin’s “disposition” before filming. In a new interview, Shreyas Talpade reflected on having a “great time” filming Iqbal with Naseeruddin where he had breakfast, played Scramble and went out to dinner. However, it did not start out like this between the two as Nagesh told Shreyas that Naseruddin Shah was “a bit capricious” and could get angry easily.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama about Iqbal’s first day on set, Shreyas said: You feel you can’t talk to him, don’t worry, just come and tell me, I will handle it. Theater kiya hai nah? Woh samajh mein aata hai. Acha suno main ek baat tumhe batana chahta hoon. Yeh Nagesh thoda Tempamental hai. Agar gussa karein toh mujhe batana. Iqbal was widely praised by critics and well received by audiences. He won Best Supporting Actor for Naseruddin Shah in 2007.
