Shauna Rae visits a thrift store in latest episode i’m shauna ray.
In a preview shared EXCLUSIVELY with PEOPLE, Star said, “Thrift is a great opportunity to find second-hand and second-hand clothes that you can reinvent,” but also the pitfalls of shopping second-hand as an unfit person. I’m searching into one section.
The 23-year-old and 3-foot-10 TLC star visited select resale store Buffalo Exchange with two friends, one of whom joked, “This is not the Shauna section,” while browsing the racks. from “Where is your section?”
This prompted Shauna, who was diagnosed with pituitary dwarfism after battling a brain tumor as a child, to explain the lack of sections.
“The main reason I’m trying to do a fashion line is because I grew up and didn’t fit in a section,” she reveals in an exclusive clip. “I know what it feels like to buy clothes, [have] It doesn’t suit you in one way, but it does in another. ”
Shauna also said she knows how to “look at other people and see how their clothes fit and think, ‘Why doesn’t this fit me like this? Place it in “I”. m different” category.
When the same friend asked if Shauna would modify anything she bought from the store to fit herself, she replied, “That’s what I do,” adding, “I’ve made this kind of thing a natural fit.” I cannot let you.”
In the clip, Shauna confirms that her passion for accessible fashion is undiminished, doubling down on her desire to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), stating, “Her own fashion that fits little people and everyone. Create a line.Others in the beauty spectrum.”
“I can definitely be a business person,” she tells a friend at a thrift store. “But if you can do well in fashion, why not?”
Shauna’s friends have expressed support for her dream, as has her stepfather Mark.He said, “Any other plans Shauna is talking about [are] While very vague and general, she has “very specific ideas” for a malleable fashion line and how to “achieve” it.
“It was the most thoughtful thing I’ve ever heard her say, and I thought it should be,” he says.

Shauna also gets a little emotional in the episode, saying, “I think everyone in this situation has forgotten about my height and disability,” while reflecting on her thrift store trip.
The aspiring fashion designer revealed that she “has been told many times that people forget that I’m short,” but added, “I will never forget.
“I’m always a little nervous,” she says. “But when I’m with people who are friendly, I feel more relaxed.”
