Riley Keough shared a simple yet heartbreaking tribute to his mother, Lisa Marie Presley.
Lisa Marie, the only child of music legend Elvis Presley, was pronounced dead shortly after suffering a cardiac arrest on January 12 and being rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles.
She was 54 years old.
At the time, Presley’s mother acknowledged the tragic turn of events, saying in a statement:
“It is with a heavy heart that I have to share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was a strong and loving woman.
“We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this severe loss. Thank you for your love and prayers.
“There are no further comments at this time.”

Earlier Friday, Keough, Lisa Marie’s oldest child and Elvis’ granddaughter, honored the late singer with an emotional tribute she shared on Instagram.

The post comes a day after Presley was buried on the family property in Graceland alongside his late son Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27.
Lisa Marie welcomed Riley in May 1989 with ex-husband Danny Keough.
The spouses split in 1994 after four years of marriage.

After her parents went their separate ways, Riley stayed close to her famous family but was fairly independent when it came to starting her own acting career.
