Nashville (CelebrityAccess) – Reese Witherspoon and country music singer Kacey Musgraves announced that it is producing a new country music competition show. My Kind of Country Partner with Apple.
The new reality show has no auditions, but features the same judge-based approach as most talent contests. Additionally, the country music superstar Jimmy Allen, Mickey GuytonWhen Orville Peck acts as a talent scout tasked with filling a client roster of globally rising country music artists to cap off with a musical showcase. American songwriter reports that Witherspoon and Musgraves will appear in the eight-episode series.
“The beauty of country music is that it can sound like so many different things and have so many different impacts,” Guyton shared in an Instagram post. I am passionate about sharing and discovering voices and am very excited to be part of the new series #MyKindOfCountry on @AppleTVPlus.”
According to the press release, the show will air on Apple TV+ on March 24, and the winner will receive “life-changing prizes from Apple Music.”
