In a conversation with Firstpost, Reena Roy was asked why Sonakshi Sinha looks so much like her. In a short reply, Roy replied, she affirmed, “Wahinna, yejinda gikeitte fakhotehain (these are the quirks of fate).” She refrained from telling much about her, and she concluded by replying, “Jetuji’s mother and my mother look like twin sisters.”
For those uninformed, stories about Reena Roy and Shatrughan Sinha’s relationship were very popular in the 70’s and 80’s.The two met for the first time at the filming site.
