Paul Merson claims he was once turned down by his “celebrity crush” Kylie Minogue.
In a new interview, the Sky Sports football pundit, who started his career at Arsenal, was asked who his celebrity crush is.
In response, Merson, 54, said. Guardian: “A few years ago, I attended the Brit Awards and asked Kylie Minogue.
“She said no,” he added.
Marson is currently married to his third wife, Kate Marson. He gave birth to his third child in January 2021, making him a father for the eighth time.
Before marrying Kate in 2016, Marson was married to Louise Bash. The former couple shares twin girls.
The former footballer also has three children with his first wife Lorraine.

Merson is an ambassador for Recoverlution, an online platform for people in recovery.
Elsewhere, Marson said eating “whole tubs” of Ben & Jerry’s was his most guilty pleasure, adding, “That’s my addiction.”
When asked what was the most expensive thing he’d ever bought, aside from property, Marson replied: But when I went to pay, it was just the jacket, trousers and waistcoat were extra.
“I didn’t have the balls to get anything back. I’m scared to think how much it ended up costing me.”
