Actor Nina Gupta replied that she was not a rebel, but a “chuha” (mouse). In a new interview, Nina said people started calling her “brave” “just because she gave birth to a child out of wedlock”. Nina and former West Indian cricketer Viv Richards wed Masaba Gupta in 1988. In 2008, Nina married Vivek Mehra. Daughter Masaba, an actor and fashion designer, is currently dating actor Satyadeep Misra.
In an interview with Brut India, Nina said: Millions of women are married in India and abroad.
Talking about her parents’ reaction when she wanted to start acting as a career, Nina added. She goes to international film festivals and watches English movies. [I wanted to act], she like dead. She said ‘no way’
Of the year Masaba was born, Nina said, “It was so strange with so much happiness and so much unhappiness.” Nina added that she chose to leave only good people in her life.
Nina was last seen in the psychological thriller Vadh. Known for his comical roles, Sanjay Mishra was seen playing a serious character in this film. Written and directed by Rajeev Barnwal and Jaspal Singh Sandhu, the film hits theaters on December 9, 2022.
