Nick Lachey is a proud dad of a little girl!
Celebrating daughter Brooklyn’s 8th birthday on Thursday, the father of three wrote a sweet tribute on Instagram, writing, “I always wanted a little girl, but this little girl. I am very happy to have a baby girl.”
Nick, 49, shares Brooklyn and sons Camden John, 10, and Phoenix Robert, 6, with wife Vanessa.
In a message to his daughter, he added: “Brooklyn, I am so proud of who you are growing up. The world needs it!”

Alongside sweet words, he includes various snaps of Brooklyn. This includes images of Brooklyn smiling happily alongside each other and a photo of him giggling and tickling her while wearing a red tutu and matching flower-adorned hairpiece.
In other works, she posted an image of her riding a carousel since she was a toddler and a recent snap of her standing outside and holding a pink heart-shaped balloon looking at something. It highlights the growth of her eight years of life. sunrise.
He continued with a heartfelt caption for the post. You will always be my little girl. Please continue to be you!!!”

He ended the adorable father-daughter post by writing, “Dad will always love you.”
Speaking to PEOPLE in November 2021, Vanessa, 42, said Nick was “the best daddy” for Brooklyn.
“If I could get my fingers entwined with my arms, my eyes, my feet, that’s what it’s like,” she told PEOPLE. Her relationship with her father would be the relationship that I believe defines her as a woman.”
