In a post on Tuesday, Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra praised Saim Sadiq’s ‘Joyland’, Pakistan’s entry into the Oscars, calling it ‘fun to watch’.
The ‘Quantico’ star posted a short trailer for the film on his Instagram story, along with the caption:
She also congratulated the South Indian film ‘RRR’ and posted a photo with filmmaker SS Rajamouli and composer MM Keeravani. The film recently earned her two awards at the Golden Globe Awards for Best Original Song and at the 28th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards held on Sunday.
‘Joyland’ has garnered critical acclaim since its debut at last year’s Cannes Film Festival. It is the first of its kind for Pakistan and has won the Jury Prize and the Queer Palm Award.
