About Amadou Falls
I am from Senegal, West Africa. Amadou Fall Coming from a family of musicians. His father, Mamadou Faure, was a guitarist and performed with Baba Mar and other famous Senegalese musicians. His family was introduced to Korra by Amadou when he was ten years old. Kora is his 21-string fishing line instrument made of wood, gourd (gourd) and cow hide, commonly referred to as the African harp. While he was growing up, Amadou’s family lived near the city of Griotz (a West African storyteller and tradition keeper). He often visited the house where the Griot family lived, where he was taught how to play some songs on the kora. After falling in love with his instrument, Amadou rebuilt the kora for himself in his city.
From what he had learned, Amekora aka Amefor embarked on a new journey to master the art of playing the kora. , Djembe Rhythm, Irene Tassanbend and many other artists.
