Nesbitt, Mississippi (WMC) – The longtime residence and private getaway of rock and roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis in Nesbitt, Mississippi is now for sale.
Killer died at Lewis Ranch on October 28 at the age of 87.
The property’s official online listing, made Dec. 5, describes Lewis Ranch as a potential development opportunity or a fan’s dream home.
The price hasn’t been listed yet, but Zillow puts the property at an estimated price of $791,000.
Killer purchased the Lewis Ranch in the early 1970s. Located just 20 miles south of Memphis, the ranch was the rock star’s home, his retreat, and a rock and roll entertainment destination.
After purchasing the ranch, he turned it into a paradise for his fellow musicians. His fellow musicians often visited when they needed a break from recording or performing.
Lewis began welcoming visitors to the 30+ acres in 1994. The site is complete with a piano-shaped swimming pool, a reservoir, two ponds, an outbuilding, a stand-alone apartment, the main his house and the famous piano-shaped building. iron gate.
The ranch has stopped offering tours in August 2021.
According to his official website biography, Lewis spent most of his time at the Lewis Ranch with his family when he was not touring.
