Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton may not be as irreplaceable as we once thought.
As part of last week’s New Year’s Eve special, Miley’s New Year’s Eve partytwo superstars shot a skit saturday night live Stars Chloe Feynman and Sarah Sherman will fill in.
“When you host a live show, anything can happen,” Cyrus, 30, says at the beginning of the skit. “I could lose my voice, break my ankle, or catch the weird flu that everyone has had for years, so the producers quickly found someone to replace me. Stand-in for myself!” Cyrus says as the camera pans out to show Feynman sitting next to her.
“Hey, it’s me, Miley, and I’m so excited, and we’re on the countdown, and it’s going to be a new year, and it’s going to be a party in America!” Age 34 says Feynman, imitating Cyrus.
“And I have underclassmen too!” exclaims 76-year-old Parton.
“Hello, Jolene!” says Sherman, 29. “yes!”

The skit continues with Cyrus and Parton teaching SNL How the girls talk and behave in case they need it during a live show. Cyrus tries to get Feynman to lower his voice and stop saying “y’all” after every sentence.
Parton also reveals that working with Sherman has been tough.
“I don’t know why they chose me to stand in for you,” Sherman said to Parton indignantly. It looks like

The musicians also work with their researchers to make sure they look the part. No”.
Sherman returns moments later with Bra’s stuffed animal. “Better than ever!” Parton says.
The skit ends with Cyrus and Parton asking the students to sing. “Pass,” Feynman says quickly. But when Sherman sings a few lines of “Jolene,” Parton’s magical voice emerges.

just before midnight Miley’s New Year’s Eve partyParton and Cyrus created an iconic musical mashup.
The live special’s namesake host and her godmother delighted fans with a handful of show-stopping performances, including a medley of her two biggest hits.
Minutes before ringing at the 2023 Miami bash, the duo performed Cyrus’ farewell ballad, “Wrecking Ball,” from his 2013 album. bangers.

But when Parton nodded over the bridge, she subbed the lyric “I’ll always want you” with “I’ll always love you” before interrupting her performance of the song of the same name.
Parton and Cyrus blended their voices for an emotional performance and shared a hug on stage to bring down the house.
