Michelle Williams and busy Phillips celebrate their friendship with a night out. On Jan. 15, the two stepped out on the Red He carpet at the Critics’ Choice Awards. Williams and Phillips have been friends since they met on the set of “Dawson’s Creek” in 1998. They often celebrate their successes online and offline, support each other through challenges, and occasionally accompany each other to award shows.
In 2020, Phillips celebrated Williams’ 40th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post. “We met 20 years ago, but we’re only 27 so it doesn’t make sense.” Celebrate all the good things with the storm, cry and cry and laugh and laugh and drink, don’t drink with me.”
In 2018, Williams paid tribute to their decades-long bond. “We are very close and we can tell each other everything,” she wrote in an Instagram post celebrating their movie “I Feel Pretty.” I don’t know who I became.”
