Meri Brown is finally over with Cody Brown.
But the longtime Sister Wives star doesn’t want fans and supporters to start going to her.
On Tuesday, Meri and Kody issued a joint statement ending their romantic tangle once and for all.
“After over a decade of working on our relationship in our own way, we have decided to end our marital relationship permanently,” the message reads.
The statement came about two weeks after Meri reacted on-air to the Kodi footage and even believed he was no longer married to his first wife.
It also came years after Cody divorced Meri to legally marry Robin. This effectively ended their relationship with Meri.
The two were not close to each other for ten years.
“I married Meri and it was a difficult relationship from the beginning,” Cody said during a special episode of Sister Wife most recently.
“We are committed to treating each other and all members of our family with kindness and respect during this process,” the exes concluded yesterday.
“We are also committed to continually healing all relationships with our families so that we can move forward with forgiveness, grace and love.”
As you can see, the split looks very friendly.
And Meri wants to keep it.
“There is so much more to be said about this story. I assure you my truth will be told,” Meri wrote in the caption of her announcement.
She has since asked for peace regarding Cody and the dissolution of this marriage.
“But for now, please know that there is peace in my heart. I hold no animosity towards Kodi.
“I’m not in a place where I enjoy making disrespectful and insulting comments about him or watching you do it, and I hope never will.”
Meli wrapped up her caption even more positively, writing:

For his part, Kody has said nothing beyond the statement above.
Meri, Christine, and Janelle have all left polygamist, so he is only married to Robin at this point.
