“Coming from country music and its relationship with LGBTQ+ members, I’m sorry,” Morris said. “And I love you all for making me feel like a brave voice in country music. So I’m so grateful to all of you for inspiring me.”
“I’m going to cry,” she admitted.
In August, Morris called out Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany’s “ruthlessly conservative” wife, to show her support when she spread harmful anti-transgender misinformation on her Instagram account. When Brittany called gender-affirming care of minors “one of the worst evils”, Morris and Cassady Pope jumped at the comment, with Morris calling Aldean a “riot Barbie” and ” Don’t be a mean person,’ he told her.

When Fox News’ Tucker Carlson called Morris’ comments “crazy,” the singer created a T-shirt that read “crazy country music guy” and later made more than $100,000 to GLAAD’s transgender Donated to media programs and trans lifelines.
