It’s the end of the Bravo era.
Lisa Rinna has announced that she is leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after eight seasons full of drama, tears and fights.

“It’s been a fun eight years. I’m looking forward to the future!”

Technically, Rinna wasn’t fired. She didn’t quit either.
The former soap opera actress’ contract actually expired at the end of season 12, and Rinna says she’s been weighing her options ever since, eventually reaching the decision to pursue other opportunities.
Rinna joined the franchise for its fifth season, which started in 2014.
Almost immediately, she was at the center of one of the show’s most memorable altercations when she threw a wine glass at then-co-star Kim Richards. He was implying that he didn’t want to be taken away.
The Days of Our Lives alum has become known over the years for her catchphrase “Own it, baby,” a mindset she subscribed to throughout her time on the program.

Loyal viewers, on the other hand, may not be shocked by this development.
In Season 12, Rinna often butted heads with Kathy Hilton.
During the dramatic reunion, Kathy accused Rinna of being “the biggest bully in Hollywood.”
Shortly thereafter, Rinna was actually greeted with heartfelt boos at BravoCon 2022.

At one point during her run, Rinna shared a photo of the housewife’s pre-throwback on her Instagram story and wrote along with it.
“I was Lisa F before HW. I was Lisa F before HW. After Rinna I’ll be Lisa F.”
She then continued with the lyrics to “Roxie” next to the image of Renée Zellweger played by Rinna in Chicago in 2002.
And the audience loves me! And I love them. And they love me for loving them. I love them, and we love each other because we didn’t get enough love in childhood, and that’s showbiz, kid,” the image read.

After the death of her mother, Lois, in November 2021, Lina cited “grief” as the basis for numerous social media rants. This includes some real to her Housewives of Dubai cast members.
“I’ve been through a really tough time. I think you know how much this has taken its toll on me,” Rinna wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post in July.
She added at the time:
“I’m sorry if I offended you. It has nothing to do with you.”

What was her reaction at BravoCon this summer?
“For God’s sake, this is a TV show,” she told People magazine a few months ago.
“Call it what you want, believe what you want, I tell the truth. Always have. Get back to it.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ 13th season (without Rinna for the first time in a decade) will premiere on Bravo later this year.
