‘Abbott Elementary’ co-stars Lisa Ann Walter and Sheryl Lee Ralph have a sweet friendship off-screen, and the former hilariously impersonates dear friends as much as they spend time together It makes sense that you’ve got the hang of it. On Jan. 3, Walter talked about one of his favorite pastimes: shopping, after performing his best impression of Ralph on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
“Cheryl and I are mall menaces,” joked the 59-year-old actor. Come on, bring what you have. I’ll try it on.”
After Walter gave Ralph the flowers, he lowered her voice an octave and returned to her sophisticated impression. “She’s incredible. She’ll say to me, ‘Okay, maybe she’ll buy me this for Christmas.'”
Walter said, “But the interesting thing about her was that she pulled it up and asked, ‘What color do you want?’ It was a Louis Vuitton shawl and she said no. She called me and said, ‘Girlfriend, where are you going this weekend?'”
