Khloe Kardashian is in mourning.
On Tuesday, the reality star paid a long and emotional tribute to Andrea Thompson, the mother of NBA power forward Tristan Thompson, who died suddenly in Toronto this month.
Of course, Tristan is Chloe’s ex-boyfriend and the father of her two children.
“I’ve been avoiding this…. It’s a reality to avoid accepting this,” Chloe wrote to open the tribute, adding, “So many emotions and yet I’m numb. I feel like,” he added.
Most members of the Kardashian family reached out to Thompson in the wake of this tragic turn of events.
However, this post marks the first time Khloe has detailed her feelings publicly.
“Life can be brutally unfair and this is one of the most difficult times in many of our lives,” Khloé continued.
“But at the same time, I feel so lucky to have met someone who is incredibly hard to say goodbye to.
“Goodbye is something I don’t believe in. I know we’ll meet again. I know I’ll hear your sweet voice and contagious laughter again. I get to feel that embrace of yours.” I know that
“Let’s meet again with many who died before you.
“So I decided to say that I miss you and will miss you more and more every day until I see you in Heaven.”
Mother of two continued:
“I know you are with our Lord and Savior. !” Because we are crying for you.
“At the same time, I know you didn’t want to leave your sons. They are your whole world.
“They will learn to live with a hole in their hearts because they are warriors just like their warrior mama. Just know, I promise you, Amari will be perfectly fine.
“We will all take care of him, help him and protect him. Your boy will be fine because he has a guardian angel by his side.
Chloe concludes with the following scripture verse from John 16:22.
So with you: now is your time of sorrow, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
The Kardashians cast member shares two children with Tristan. 4 year old daughter True and she has a 6 month old boy.
Thompson was the eldest of three children.
Andrea is survived by Tristan and his brothers DiShawn and Daniel.
