Dharma Productions’ ‘Brahmastra’ chart buster ‘Kesariya’ has emerged as the No. 1 song for 2022 Bollywood release.
In a study conducted by Biz Asialive.com, ‘Kesariya’, rendered by Arijit Singh, is the highest rated of all Hindi releases of 2022. It coincides with this year’s wedding, months before the film’s soundtrack.
Pritam, composer of ‘Kesariya’ said at the time: We’ve been getting a lot of messages asking us to remove the entire song, and we’ve even had internal discussions about it! That’s why we’re focusing on the trailer as the film’s next big creative release, with the full-length Kesarya set to come out in the months leading up to its release. So please be patient. And to everyone who liked the teaser for the song, thank you very much! We look forward to sharing the music of Brahmastra with you in the coming months. (sic).
Other big 2022 releases include ‘The Punjjabban Song’ by ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’, ‘Pasoori’ by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, ‘Desires’ by AP Dhillon, ‘Naacho Naacho’ by ‘RRR’, Includes ‘Manike’ from ‘Thank God’. ‘Dhaagon Se Bandhaa’ from ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Tere Hawale’ from ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and ‘Doobey’ from ‘Geheraiyaan’.
