Jessa Duggar just welcomed her fourth child in 2021.
Most mothers in her position are probably thinking about retiring the womb, or at least waiting a long time for another to pop out.
But Jessa is a dagger. I mean, she was raised to believe that her reproduction was her main reason.
So it’s no surprise that fans are convinced Jessa is currently pregnant with her fifth baby!
For clarity, Jessa has not made any announcements to that effect.
Still, some fans are sure she’s secretly hoping.
A major source of speculation is the fact that Jessa hasn’t posted a new photo on her Instagram page since November.
Yes, it would be a long absence from social media under any circumstances, but this case is particularly suspect as Jessa refrained from posting throughout the holiday season.
On Reddit and elsewhere, Jessa’s followers took note of the absence, with many concluding that there were only a handful of possible explanations.
“Jessa has been absent from social media. Her last post was Nov. 21. She missed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. Is she just resting?” According to a British tabloid, one person asked Sun.
“Was she pregnant? The last time she was this MIA (?) Ivy? There was a whole bee-themed photo shoot she never posted a picture of.” Another person speculated.
“Like others have said, I think she’s pregnant. I hope she makes an announcement soon, but I’m curious to see what name she’ll come up with this time.”
It seems to be a consensus theory, but some people still don’t accept it.
“I don’t disagree with your opinion, but I don’t see why a pregnancy would be a reason to stop posting,” one person commented.
“Why would you pass up sponsorship opportunities and such for months just to keep your fifth pregnancy a secret?”
“It could be a pregnancy, but she and Ben could be having marital problems, especially stemming from Ginger’s book. Plus, Ben’s church has something to say about her social media, too.” Maybe,” speculated another.
Yes, Jessa and husband Ben Seewald may soon find themselves at the center of a bizarre controversy thanks to Jinger Duggar’s memoir due out later this month.
In the book, Ginger details the spiritual awakening he experienced after attending a service at Ben’s church.
This experience took her in a new direction and caused a theological disagreement with Ginger’s notorious fundamentalist parents.
So it’s possible Jessa is avoiding the internet just because she doesn’t want to answer tough questions before Jinger’s release date.
Of course, the Duggar women have refrained from announcing their pregnancy since the Josh Duggar sex scandal.
No one knows why it became a new family policy, but it’s possible Jessa is keeping a low profile to follow suit.
Either way, fans will continue to speculate about Jessa’s social media absences until she opts for her long-awaited return!
