Anne Hathaway feels anticipation from fans surrounding next princess diaries movie!
The 40-year-old Oscar-winning star opened up to PEOPLE about the long-awaited third installment of the franchise when he appeared at the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend.
And while she didn’t reveal much about her next film, which is reportedly in development, she admitted it was “thrilling” to “see the level of excitement about it.”
“We feel exactly the same way. I think it’s probably very frustrating,” she says of waiting nearly 20 years for the next sequel. It’s a process, and everyone should consider it part of the movie business, given how long it takes to actually make a thing.”
