Veteran cinematographer and special effects provider Peter Pereira has passed away. Actor Abhishek Bachchan shared the news on Twitter. Peter he is 93 years old and has been blind for over 20 years. He is best known for films such as Mr India (1987), Sheshnaag (190), Ajooba (1991), Border (1997) and Aa Gale Lag Jaa (1973).

He was the star of my documentary and the impact he has had on my life is indescribable. It is a sad reflection of the Bombay film industry, a perpetually horrifying and grotesque despicable selfishness and arrogance. There will be no one like him. He would have turned 94 this year. ”
