He went blind more than 20 years before him and was conveniently forgotten by his fraternity in the typically callous and selfish way our film industry works. Aside from his presence in my documentary film, there is only one other interview of a man who has created generations of excellence. He was the star of my documentary and the impact he has had on my life is indescribable. It is a sad reflection of the Bombay film industry, a perpetually horrifying and grotesque despicable selfishness and arrogance. There will be no one like him. He would have turned 94 this year. ”
