And of course, don’t forget to share the wealth on the Spotify playlist linked below.

Latest Discovery: Trash Panda, “Doin’ Fine Today”

Thanks to Trash Panda’s latest single, I’m fine today. The band has dipped into a wide variety of genres in their catalog, but this feel-good cut draws influences from his ’70s funk and soul sound, perfect for the start of the week and his 2023. It has become a soundtrack.

Fresco Tray feat. Blazey “Pull Up”

There’s something in the waters of Memphis, and newcomers Fresco Trey and Brezey are adding to the city’s thriving prowess with their new single, “Pull Up.” Produced by Jeff Williams, the song builds on a choir-like sub-bass, with her two boastful bars bouncing off each other in an adrenaline-filled stream. “The inspiration for ‘Pull Up’ came from the Memphis vibe,” Trey explains in his press release. “We invited some local artists into the studio to set the vibe.

    Kamiyah “Through the Week”

Kamiyah is alone. On her bouncy new single, “Thru the Week,” the Oakland mainstay claims she’s making money by staying busy every day… just like she should. ‘Thru the Week’ follows the rapper’s latest project keep it lightwas released in December.

    CJ Fly “Have Knots”

In “Have Knots,” Brooklyn rapper CJ Fly reflects on his life and his development as a musician. “We got it all/I dreamed of the day we all made it to the top/I had goals to get rich because I didn’t have one/My life is a movie and I and it’s all part of the plot.” He raps over his NasteeLuvzYou-produced beat. The Pro Era/Beast Coast members also hinted at a new project slated for April. Tweet“If you’re not a fan by February, you’ll be #FLY23 by April.”

    Dende “sensually”

Intro track for his new EP before it collides, “Sensually,” finds Texas-born newcomer Dende completely in love. The up-and-coming singer stretches his vocals in his old-school R&B fashion, nodding that his lover is the center of his dreams.

    redveil “2daside”

The birthplace of redveil is “2daside”. The PG, Maryland, County native has channeled his inner child into this self-produced new single. The single sees him racing tricycles with his friends, playing with sidewalk chalk, and cosplaying as Bob Ross and painting the Maryland state flag.

Young Dora feat. NLE Chopper “I don’t know”

With the new year coming, Young DrA is sorting out a few things. The Chicago newcomer joins forces with Memphis mainstay NLE Choppa on “Don’t Understanding,” a dark trap verse that thunders over his beat. “Don’t speak my language they don’t understand / You don’t understand my pain ’cause you don’t understand,” young DrA raps on the chorus.

    Babytron “Mr. Hanky”

If there’s one thing BabyTron can guarantee, it’s a grin-inducing bar.Sampling Peter from family guy “Mr. Hankey, from Ypsilanti, Michigan, rattles off witty rap after rap, with a distinct Detroit beat blaring behind him.

Daisy Beacock, “What You Tell Her”

Baring a sonic similarity to British favorite Lily Allen and infusing it with Amy Winehouse-esque jazz influences, singer-songwriter Daisy Beacock puts it in “what you want to tell her.” It offers a strong yet laid back single. The daughter of professional saxophonist Phil Veacock, this South Her London vocalist has a musical background and is sure to captivate listeners with the track’s clever melodies and approachable lyrics.

    Ice Spice “In Ha Mood”

Whether or not you think she’s a modern-day Princess Diana, one thing we can all agree on is that Ice Spice is that moment. It’s the Bronx rapper’s second release since “Munch (Feelin’ U),” and has seen rapid success on social media thanks to her simple approach to lyrics that made her an internet favorite. has been proven. Drawing sonic inspiration from the Jersey club scene and enlisting producer her RIOTUSA (who was also responsible for both “Munch” and its follow-up single, “Bikini Bottom”), Ice Spice clearly has her sights set on 2023. I’m in the mood to take the world by storm.
